Welcome to My Campaign Website!
FOCUSED on Fayette!
My vision for Fayette County is to support Public Health, Human Services, Aging Community Resources, Workforce Recruitment/Housing Affordability, Planned Growth, and to pursue alternative revenue streams to support our budget without impacting the citizens.
Why Fayette County?
Twenty-four years ago, my husband and I decided to move to Fayette County from Metropolitan Atlanta:
- Top-ranked education system.
- Fayette County residents are very friendly, diverse and community-oriented.
- Plethora of resources to help entrepreneurs and business owners to establish a good foundation for businesses to start, grow, and succeed.
- Cultural events held throughout the county bring connectivity among our residents.
Fayette County exudes a hometown feel and has the perfect blend of suburban living, and tranquil rural estates surrounded by beauty and friendly residents.
Why I’m Running?
I want to serve because I love Fayette County, and I want to give back to a community that has given so much to me and my family. And, because I want to take my community service to the next level by helping to make our county a better place for people to live, work, play, learn, grow up, visit, move to, start a business, and enjoy.
Proud Mom
Kendall, Taylour and Parker are my pride and joy!
My son Kendall received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Tennessee State University and currently lives in Nashville, TN. He works for Mcangus, Goudelock and Courie Law Firm as an Office Coordinator. Kendall is also an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
My son Taylour received his Bachelor of Science degree in Equine
Science and Management from the University of Kentucky in 2019. He earned his Masters degree at Georgia State University in Environmental Public Health, and is currently working for the CDC in Atlanta as an Orise Fellow. Taylour earned his Eagle Scout rank from Troop 79 in Tyrone, 2014.
My son, Parker, is on the Autism Spectrum and attended Fayette County public schools, along with attending the REACH program until he turned 22. Parker has been receiving services from our county since he was in daycare, as he was identified through a program called Babies Can't Wait. Today, Parker is co-owner of Brew-tiful Difference Mobile Coffee and Craft Beverage Bar with his mom. Parker achieved his Eagle Scout rank from Troop 79 in Tyrone in 2019.
Both Taylour and Parker grew up in the Fayette County school system in Tyrone beginning with preschool.
